1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SecureDocs platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SecureDocs provides a cloud-based document management and secure sharing platform. The Service allows users to upload, store, share, and manage documents with access controls, encryption, and audit capabilities.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
If you have been provided a secure document link by your organization, an account has already been provisioned for you and is linked to your organization's existing login credentials. In this case, no separate registration is required — simply sign in using your corporate credentials to access shared documents.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any purpose other than its intended document management functionality.
5. Data and Privacy
We take your data seriously. Documents uploaded to SecureDocs are encrypted and stored securely. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required by law. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology associated with SecureDocs are the property of SecureDocs, Inc. You retain ownership of documents you upload but grant us a limited license to store and process them as part of the Service.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, your access to stored documents will be revoked. You may request export of your data prior to termination.
9. Limitation of Liability
SecureDocs, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
